“If you had a nickel for every time someone said “content is king” you could probably retire to a beach. But what people don’t tell you is how hard it is to create quality content consistently. For most digital marketers the main form of content is written text. From blog posts to ebooks you need to be able to write. Today we have a collection of tips from Instructional Solutions to help you write faster and with fewer errors. These tips are highly applicable, and you can start using them today.

Here are a few of our favorite tips and how you can apply them.

Focus on Planning

If you want to write faster, you need to spend more time on planning. Before you start writing your blog post make sure to outline the entire article. Use an H2 tag for each subheading in your article. Then you can go back and write each section as a mini post.

Know your Audience

You need to be using marketing personas. If you understand your audience, you can write more persuasive documents. You want to be able to know their pain points and aspirations. Before you start drafting your document, ask yourself who is going to be reading it.

Find an Editor

Finding an editor can help transform your writing from good to great. It’s easy to miss simple mistakes when you have been staring at a screen for two hours. An editor is an affordable way to increase the quality of your writing quickly.”
