A New Partnership

New York Times bestselling author Jay Baer will co-produce the third annual, and recently renamed, Conex: The Content Experience; a Toronto based digital marketing event created by Uberflip co-founder Randy Frisch.

Jay Baer, and his Convince and Convert team, will work closely with Uberflip and Randy Frisch to reinvent the conference and elevate it to an exciting new level. This budding multi-year partnership stems from Frisch and Baer’s close friendship as well as Baer’s previous involvement in the Uberflip-owned conference.

Over the past three years, Conex has worked diligently to cement themselves as a major player in the marketing event world and, under the control of Convince and Convert, they hope to gain momentum and see their attendance double year after year.

In Randy Frisch’s blog post about the partnership, he states,

For those unfamiliar with Jay, his participation in your marketing event is the equivalent of adding butter to your popcorn, sour cream to your nachos, or fine cheese to a nice bottle of red (assuming you’re not lactose intolerant)! In my opinion, you really can’t have one without the other—and the same is true of Conex.”

More on Conex: The Content Experience

The conference, which bridges the gap between digital marketing’s major players and those looking to reinvent every stage of the buyer journey, has drawn critical praise and award-winning keynote speakers. Conex is an intimate event with a large scale feel that encourages marketers from vastly different industries to forge strong connections and take back tips and tricks to their offices and brands.

Last year’s featured speakers included Ann Handley, Lee Odden, Andy Crestondia, Grad Conn (CMO of Microsoft), and many more. Another major crowd draw was 2017’s wildly entertaining (and enlightening) Content Feud; a reworking of Family Feud that pitted teams of marketing practitioners and strategists against each other. The fan favorite event was hosted by Jay Baer and will return this August.

This year, Conex is switching things up in another new way. The event will be presentation-only style, (with the exception of Content Feud) and a new batch of talented keynote speakers will take the stage to share their marketing insights with attendees. By moving to the gorgeous Royal Conservatory of Music, Conex will be able to hold up to 1,200 marketers, reducing the possibility of sell outs.

Jay Baer’s involvement signals a bright future for Conex and Uberflip and with a beautiful venue located in the heart of Toronto, 2018's event will not be one to miss.

Early bird registration is open until February 15 so you still have a chance to be apart of this young, yet promising, marketing event (at an affordable rate).
